Fannie and Freddie recently announced that they will be updating the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) this June 12th to rename the “Date of Appraisal” field in the Appraisal section of the Submission Summary Report (SSR) and to correct the XML mapping for two comment fields on the Small Residential Income Property Appraisal Report (Fannie Mae Form 1025 and Freddie Mac Form 72).
To provide more clarity, the Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) are renaming the “Date of Appraisal” field in the Appraisal section of the SSR to “Appraisal Effective Date.” The underlying source value will also be updated to reflect the “Appraisal Effective Date.”
XML Mapping Update:
Fannie and Freddie will be changing the XML mapping of the Small Residential Income Property Appraisal Report (Fannie Mae Form 1025 and Freddie Mac Form 72) by exchanging two comment data fields under the Subject Rent Schedule section. The two data fields are currently reversed in the Standard Data View (SDV), which is available in the UCDP web interface. However, effective June 12th, the SDV will display the correct values for all newly submitted appraisals. Any SDVs for submissions prior to June 12th will not be modified.
