This past June, Global DMS hired Harun Reed to fill the new Inside Sales Associate position within the company’s Sales Department. Harun brings roughly 10 years of extensive sales experience with him to Global DMS, and is excited by the new opportunities that await as he begins his new journey with the company.
As the new Inside Sales Associate, Harun is primarily responsible for creating more sales opportunities from both new and existing leads. He will also work in conjunction with the Sales Team as a whole on various projects and initiatives – such as campaign management, tradeshows, etc.
Prior to joining Global DMS, Harun first worked for Practical Network Security Solutions from 2002-2005 as an Inside Sales Rep, where he worked with medium-sized businesses to help generate hardware support opportunities. Harun then moved on to The Aviation Institute of Maintenance from 2005-2007, in which he worked as an Admissions Representative. While there, he was responsible for receiving inbound calls from potential students for enrollment purposes and signing said students.
From 2008-2010, Harun worked for Modular Space Corporation as an Inside Sales Rep, where he generated new business by using SalesForce to prospect leads in both New Jersey and Connecticut. In 2010, Harun moved on to Market Resource Partners, where he worked as an Account Executive until 2012 – generating and creating new opportunities in the market pertaining to cloud technology and more.
Harun’s final stop before Global DMS was at Advertising Specialty Institute from 2013-2014, where he worked within the Customer Service department. His primary responsibility was to organize 5 tradeshows per year in various cities across the country, and to ensure that the company’s members were registered for these events.
Harun attended Delaware Valley College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
