From May 19th through the 21st, Global DMS will be attending the TMBA’s 97th Annual Convention in Lost Pines, Texas at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa. This convention will feature several keynote topics that pertain to CFPB regulations, doing business with FNMA in 2013, implementing a Compliance Management System, and more.

Global DMS will be hosting a Customer Experience Webinar titled, Company Document Management, which will provide listeners with a walk through of eTrac’s Company Documents Application. In this webinar, we will be discussing both the different features of this application and the many benefits that it can bring to your appraisal management process.

Towards the end April, Fannie Mae issued its UCDP Fannie Mae Appraisal Messaging Change Notification to remind the industry of its plan to implement two new appraisal messages within the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) on May 18, 2013.

On Thursday, May 9th, Global DMS will in Columbia, Maryland at the MMBA’s Annual Conference, where we will be exhibiting our flagship product eTrac in booth #20. On April 16th, the Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) issued another Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) Release Notification and Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) Update to remind the industry about the upcoming conversions of several UAD compliance warning edits to fatal UAD edits within the UCDP. The first phase of the conversion—which is set to be implemented on June 22nd, 2013—includes the following data fields:

This important function allows eTrac users to customize action items that can be mapped to order status changes, such as auto-assigning an engager to an order, emailing a vendor, running a MARS review, sending an XML file to the UCDP, and much more.

The Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) has officially adopted modifications to the 2014-2015 edition of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), which were decided upon after a fifteen month period that saw multiple discussion drafts, requests for comments, and three exposure drafts. The ASB carefully read and considered each written comment that was submitted, and based its final revisions off of the issues that were brought forward.
